Sri Sathya Sai Baba
The Luton Sai Centre grew out of the union of two separate groups of spiritual aspirants keen to deepen their spiritual understanding through Study Circles and Devotional Singing in 1981. Service activities and Sai Spiritual Education Classes for the children were included eventually. In 1983 the group was formally registered as a Centre. To accomodate the growing membership, the Centre started regular meetings at various hired venues, such as Schools, Community Halls, clubs, etc.
The centre has grown steadily ever since, and its contribution to the Organisation and the local community have been recognised, especially in the field of education, health and service activities. Since 2002, the centre has also been actively involved with Luton Council of Faiths (LCoF) and other community programmes.
The Luton Sai Centre is affiliated to Sri Sathya Sai Service Organisation (UK). It is therefore bound by its rules and regulation; upholding its principal aims and objectives.
The key objective of the organisation laid down by Sri Sathya Sai Baba is to “awaken in man the awareness of the divinity in him”.

The aims of the organisation are to bring about spiritual and moral reawakening by providing an environment where spiritual aspirants can study and put into practice the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba by participating in the activities of the organisation.
The Centre upholds these objectives by helping individual members to:
